Hiking

  •  Mount Temehani: The legendary climb to see the world's only flower, the Tiare Apetahi. Please note: This hike is demanding and must be undertaken with a certified guide for safety and environmental protection reasons.
  • The Three Waterfalls of HamoaGuide strongly recommended (access through private property often closed without a guide). Walk through bamboo forests and "mape" (Tahitian chestnut trees) to reach three magnificent waterfalls. Swimming possible.
  • Taputapuatea Marae Trail: Located just opposite the Taputapuatea Marae. The trail climbs through a pine forest and offers viewing platforms with views of the UNESCO sacred site and the island of Huahine.
  • The Gabbros: Located in the caldera of the ancient Raiatea volcano (Faaroa Valley), this hike is unique. You will discover dark, crystalline rock formations called "Gabbros", evidence of the intense volcanic activity that created the island.
  • Boubé hike: Located just opposite the airport, this walk offers a quick climb to an exceptional view of the lagoon, the runways and the island of Taha'a. Ideal for a memorable sunset.
